This Privacy Policy explains how Power Copilot ("we", "our", or "the Extension") collects, uses, and protects your information when you install and use our browser extension and visit our website.

1. Core Privacy Principle (Local-First Processing)

Power Copilot is designed with a strict privacy-first and client-side architecture:

• No Chat Logging: We do not collect, transmit, intercept, or store your Microsoft Copilot conversations, prompts, generated responses, or uploaded files.
• Local PII Redaction: The real-time PII security scanner operates entirely inside your local browser instance. Sensitive data matches (e.g., API keys, credit cards, emails) are redacted locally before form submission and are never transmitted to external logging servers.
• Local Storage: Your custom prompt templates, system personas, settings, and workspace preferences are stored locally using Chrome's chrome.storage.local and chrome.storage.sync APIs.

2. Information We Process

• License Verification: When activating a PRO License, the extension transmits your license key and an anonymized installation hash to verify license validity and enforce the activation limit (up to 5 personal devices).
• Website Analytics: Our landing page may collect anonymous aggregate statistics (such as browser type, referring URLs, and page views) to evaluate technical performance.

3. Payments & Merchant of Record (Lemon Squeezy)

Our order process and payment transactions are conducted by our online Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, LLC ("Lemon Squeezy"). Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, payment processing, billing data, invoicing, and global sales tax / VAT compliance. We do not receive, store, or process your credit card details. Lemon Squeezy's data processing is governed by their Privacy Policy.

4. Local File Exports

All file exports (Markdown, JSON, HTML, PDF) are generated 100% locally in your browser. No exported conversation files or documents are ever uploaded to third-party servers.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
